How do you create a Family Account?
With Parkster Plus the option to create a Family Account is included. One member
of the family creates the Family Account and then invites up to 3 family members
(4 including himself).
How do I create a Family account?
Family account is created via the App under More and then Family account. Name
the family and create an account.
Only the family administrator - the person responsible for the payments, can
invite members to the family account. The invitation is sent via SMS or email
and is sent by the administrator via the app or My pages. Through a link in the
invitation, the person receives information about the family account and can
then link an existing Parkster account to it. If you don't have a Parkster
account, you create one there and then. If you do not want to join a family
account, you simply ignore the invitation.
An invitation that has not yet been responded to will appear as 'Waiting for
Response' to the administrator. If the administrator wants to withdraw an
invitation, this is done via the app or My pages. The invitee then receives an
error message when trying to join the family. The administrator is informed via
e-mail when a member has accepted the invitation to the Family Account.
Via the App
The administrator adds family members by going to More then Family Account. Then
click on 'Add family member' and invite a member via email or phone number. The
family member then receives an invitation via email or SMS.
Via My pages
The administrator logs in as family admin and then goes to 'Family members'.
There, choose whether the invitation to the family member should be sent via
e-mail or phone number.
How does a member leave a Family Account?
Members can choose to leave the Family Account at any time, and the
administrator will be automatically informed via email. Parkster Plus will
remain activated even after leaving the family account. If you wish to
deactivate Plus, you can do so separately via the app or My Pages.
Leave the family account via the app
1. Click on 'More' and select 'Family Account'.
2. Click on 'Leave Family Account'.
Leave the family account via My Pages
1. Log in to My Pages and go to the 'Plus' tab under 'Settings - Private'.
2. Click on 'Leave the family'.
How do I activate Parkster Plus?
Parkster Plus is a package of smart features for an extra helpful parking app,
such as overpayment protection, Family account, and receipt sharing. By
activating the additional service via the app or through My Pages, you will have
access to a smoother parking experience.
Through the app
You can activate Plus in several ways through the app.
* By answering 'Yes' in the pop-up that appears after the trial period.
* Through 'Parkster Plus' under 'More'. You will receive a pop-up with detailed
information about Plus, cost, and an option to activate.
* Through 'Family Account' under 'More' and via the Family Account icon in the
parking view. You will receive a pop-up with brief information about Plus,
cost, and an option to activate.
* Through the 'Send receipt' button under a receipt. You will receive a pop-up
with brief information about Plus, cost, and an option to activate.
Through My Pages
1. Log in to My Pages and go to 'Plus' further down on the homepage.
2. Click on 'Activate Plus'.
How do I remove Parkster Plus?
Using the app
1. Press 'More' and select 'Parkster Plus'.
2. Press 'Cancel Plus'.
3. Press 'Cancel Plus' to confirm the cancellation.
You also have the option to leave feedback on why you want to cancel Plus,
although it is not mandatory.
Using My Pages
1. Log in to My Pages and go to 'Plus' further down on the homepage.
2. Click on 'Deactivate Plus'.
How do I invite members to a Family Account?
Only the administrator of the Family Account can invite members. The invitation
can be sent via SMS or email through the app or My Pages.
Through a link in the invitation, the person receives information about the
family account and can then connect an existing Parkster account to it. If they
do not have a Parkster account, they can create one there and then. If they do
not want to join a family account, they can simply ignore the invitation.
An unanswered invitation is displayed to the administrator as 'Waiting for
response'. The administrator can also withdraw an invitation through the app or
My Pages. The person who previously received the invitation will then receive an
error message if they try to join the Family Account. The administrator is
informed via email when a member has accepted the invitation to the Family
Account.
Via the app
1. Tap on 'More' and select 'Family Account'.
2. Tap on 'Add family member' and enter a phone number or email for the person
to be invited.
3. Tap on 'Send invitation'.
To withdraw an invitation, tap on the relevant invitation and press 'Revoke
invitation'.
Via My Pages
1. Log in as Family Administrator.
2. Go to 'Family Members' in the menu on the right.
3. Enter a phone number or email for the person to be invited.
4. Click on 'Send invitation via...'.
To withdraw an invitation, go to the same page and under 'Current invitations',
click on the trash can icon next to the relevant invitation you want to
withdraw.
How do I apply for a Circle K Business Card?
Parkster and Circle K have entered a collaboration to simplify parking payments
for all those who park via work - something that has been in demand for a long
time by Circle K's corporate customers. The collaboration is the first of its
kind in Sweden.
In order to register the Circle K Business Card as a payment method, you need to
have an At work account with Parkster as well as a Circle K Business Card.
Terms for Circle K Business Card
* Can only be registered by customers who have a Circle K Business Card
approved for parking payment.
* Debiting is done immediately after the parking is completed to the registered
Circle K Business Card. Invoicing is then done according to the applicable
terms.

Circle K 💚 Parkster
Parkster and Circle K have entered a collaboration to simplify parking payments
for all those who park in business. This has been a long-awaited feature for
Circle K's corporate customers. This collaboration is the first of its kind in
Sweden
In essence, the collaboration allows corporate customers to easily link their
Circle K Business Card when parking for business purposes in the Parkster app.
Up until now, payments have been made at a parking meter, where receipts needed
to be kept and then reported. This solution eliminates the risk of lost receipts
and significantly reduces administration, while also making the process quick
and smooth.
How do I use my Circle K Business Card via Parkster?
To pay for your parking tickets with your Circle K Business Card, you need to
have an At work account. You can read about how to activate the service here.
Afterwards, when you start a ticket via the Parkster app, you choose to park via
At work. Then all your parking costs will be added to your invoice from Circle
K.
Parkster's contribution to the climate
Parkster is trying to contribute and do its part to help the climate, both in
the long term and the short term. We are aware that in order to use our service,
one needs to drive to the parking space, and what we want to do to compensate
for the journey to and from this is to plant trees - which is a part of Parkster
Plus. One tree is planted for every 20 parkings made via Parkster Plus.
For the tree planting, we have a collaboration with the organization The Perfect
World Foundation. They are doing an amazing job for animals and nature in
crisis. Their goal is to create a sustainable future for our planet, and we at
Parkster are proud to be contributing. So far, we have contributed to the
planting of approximately 700,000 trees. This includes mangrove trees that have
been planted in Kenya.
In addition to tree planting, Parkster also does other things to do our part.
Those with company cars drive electric cars, and we offset the carbon emissions
from the flights taken by Parkster's employees.

How do I start a ticket via a Family Account?
With Parkster Plus, it is possible to create a Family Account. One member of the
family creates the Family Account and then invites up to 3 family members (4
including themselves). As a member of the Family Account, you can choose to link
a parking ticket to the Family Account. All tickets linked to the Family Account
are invoiced to the administrator of the Family Account, who is also responsible
for payment.
Please note that Plus is activated for all connected family members.
When you are connected to a Family Account, you can choose to link the ticket to
the Family Account when starting a parking session. When you select 'Family',
the cost of the ticket is linked to the Family Account and invoiced to the
administrator.
How do I use Parkster for parking via work?
This feature is available to private customers who want to report expenses to
their employer.
This means that you can choose to park Personal or via At work. This creates two
separate invoices, where the invoice for expenses made via the Service can be
submitted to the employer.
You are responsible for payment for both invoices whether they are 'Personal' or
'At work'. It is never the employer or the company that becomes responsible for
payment. On 'My Pages', you can choose a payment method for 'At work'. You must
specify a payment method for your personal invoice and a payment method for the
At work invoice. It does not automatically become the same payment method if one
changes.
How do I delete a Family Account?
With Parkster Plus, it is possible to create a Family Account. Do you wish to
terminate your family account?
Delete via the app
1. Go to 'More' in the menu
2. Choose 'Family Account'
3. Click on 'Close Family Account' and confirm
If you have unpaid invoices, the account will be deactivated and a final invoice
will be generated. Once this invoice is fully paid, the account will be deleted
automatically.
Delete via My Pages
Log in as the Family Administrator and then click on 'Close family account.'
When the administrator deletes the family account, the members are automatically
removed. Members are informed via email that the Family Account has been
deleted. If all invoices are paid, the family account is closed immediately. If
there are unpaid invoices, the account will be deactivated and a final invoice
will be generated. Once this invoice is fully paid, the account will be deleted
automatically.
What is Receipt sharing?
As part of Parkster Plus, the option to share receipts is included. Right after
completing a parking session or later in the app, you can have you receipt sent
to you. It will be sent to your email address registered on the account.
When can I share my receipt?
You can do this immediately after completing the parking by pressing the 'Share
receipt' button.
Share receipt afterwards via the app:
1. Go to 'Tickets' and then 'Receipts'.
2. Access the ticket for which you want to receive the receipt.
3. Press 'Send receipt'.
A confirmation notification will appear, and you can dismiss it by pressing
'ok'.
Where does my receipt go?
We generate a PDF that will be sent to the email address registered on the
user's account. Therefore, you must have an email address added to your account
in order to share a receipt.
What if I want to share a receipt but don't have an email address?
In that case, you will receive an error message prompting you to add your email
address.
What is a Family account?

What does an overpayment protection mean?
As part of Parkster Plus, the smart feature overpayment protection is included.
Everyone can sometimes forget to end a ticket. This can be avoided by receiving
a notification to end the ticket when you leave the location, in case you forgot
to do so.
How does it work for iOS?
When you start your parking, we register a geofence (a geographic area) around
your position. When we detect that you are leaving that area, we check if you
are in a car. If so, a notification appears on your phone warning that you may
have forgotten to end your parking. You need to allow our app access to the
phone's 'Motion & Fitness' and access to the phone's position in the background.
These questions come up when you make your first parking after Plus has been
activated. 'Motion & Fitness' is used to determine if you are in a car. Your
position in the background is used because we need to register a geographic area
around your position to determine if you have left your parking space.
You can end your ongoing ticket via the notification warning that the ticket has
not been ended. To see the 'End' button, depending on your iPhone, you either
need to press firmly or tap and hold on the notification. If you tap the
notification normally, the Parkster app opens.
If you wish to turn off overpayment protection, you can do so via the Parkster
Plus menu in the app.
How do I activate Motion & Fitness?
Go to your phone's Settings. Scroll down until you find 'Parkster' and click on
it. Under 'Location', choose 'Always'. Make sure 'Motion & Fitness' is checked.
How does it work for Android?
When you start parking, we register a listener that is triggered when the phone
believes you have driven away in a car. When this happens, a notification
appears on the phone warning that you may have forgotten to end your parking.
For Android 10 or higher, you need to allow our app access to your 'Physical
Activity'. This question comes up when you make your first parking after Plus
has been activated. We need access to it to detect if you leave the parking
space in a car. For Android 9 or lower, you do not need to allow anything
special.
How do I activate Physical Activity?
Go to your phone's Settings. Then find the settings for Parkster. This is done
slightly differently on different phones, but it is common to have an option
called something like 'Apps and notifications'. Click on 'Parkster' and then
'Permissions'. Choose 'Physical Activity' and then click 'Allow'.
If you wish to turn off overpayment protection, you can do so via the Parkster
Plus menu in the app.
What is Parkster Plus?
Parkster Plus is a package of smart features for an extra helpful parking app
such as overpayment protection, family account, and receipt sharing. By
activating the additional service via the app or through My Pages, you gain
access to a smoother parking experience.
Plus costs 4 SEK per completed short-term parking where the ticket cost exceeds
0 SEK. A cancelled ticket, a ticket without cost, and a long-term ticket
therefore have no Plus fee. If the user terminates Plus during an ongoing
parking, this parking is not considered a Plus parking and no Plus fee is added.
Parkster Plus can be activated and deactivated whenever the customer wishes,
there is no binding period or notice period. The total cost for the parking
ticket and Plus fee is displayed in the app after the parking is completed and
on the receipt. In the app view for starting a ticket, the Plus fee is shown
under the 'Fee and cost Information'. The Plus fee is also displayed when you
accesses an active ticket.

I have started a ticket via Circle K Corporate Card, can I change it to Personal afterwards?
Circle K Corporate Card as a payment method
If you have started your ticket for the service and have not had the opportunity
to cancel it at the time of starting, it is not possible to change the cost
center afterwards. If you have started a ticket as Personal one that should have
been for At work, it is also not possible to change the cost center during
ongoing or completed parking. If the cost is allocated to the wrong cost center,
we advise you to contact your employer for internal handling.
Where do I turn for troubleshooting?
If you are unable to park the most common reason for this is related to your
internet connection. Please ensure that you have coverage and internet access.
We also recommend restarting your mobile device and try to change location if
the coverage is poor where you are standing.

I have received a parking fine despite having a valid ticket through Parkster, what should I do?
If you have not selected the correct zone code, licence plate number, or parked
incorrectly in a parking area, you will receive a parking fine from the parking
warden.
Parkster does not monitor parking spaces and therefore does not issue parking
violation tickets.
If you believe that the parking fine has been issued incorrectly and you had a
valid ticket via Parkster, please contact us at kundtjanst@parkster.se with a
description of what happened. We are happy to receive evidence of the ticket as
well as a receipt or a screenshot of the active ticket at the time. We can then
investigate the matter and the reason for the ticket.
Do you wish to appeal the ticket? Then we refer you to contact the issuer.
Information on how to proceed can be found on the back of the fine. If you need
a receipt for your ticket, you can download it via My Pages.
Please note that the current signage on-site applies and that you always need to
provide the correct registration number and choose the right parking spot when
starting your parking.

How do I activate At work?
At work is available to facilitate expense reporting for customers who want to
report expenses to their employer.
This means that you can have two options for your private account, park
'Personal' or 'At work. This creates two separate invoices where the invoice for
expenses made via 'At work' can be submitted to the employer.
Activate 'At work' via the app
When you start a new parking session in the app, you can choose whether the
parking should be done 'Personal' or via 'At work'. Clicking on the 'At work'
button will bring up information about the function, and you can choose to
activate the service by entering the name for your account. After that, you can
choose to start your parking via 'At work'.
Activate 'At work' via My Pages
When logged in, you can activate the service via 'Settings' and then choose 'At
work'.
