Do you suspect an attempt of fraud?

Attempts of fraud related to incorrect QR codes on signs, SMS messages pretending to be from a company, and emails with various prompts are becoming increasingly common. Unfortunately, this also appears in the parking world. Parkster naturally wants to help you recognize potential fraud attempts and what you should be particularly vigilant about.

How does Parkster communicate?

Parkster can send different types of communications depending on the purpose. Below you will find the types of communications we may send:

  • Welcome email - When you register an account with Parkster, we will send you two emails welcoming you as a user and providing you with all the information you need for a smooth parking experience with Parkster.

  • Newsletter - If you have chosen to receive newsletters, we will send these to you when we have exciting news to share.

  • SMS about invoice on the way - When you are a new customer with us or have not used Parkster for a while and have paper invoice as your payment method, you will receive an SMS from us informing you that an invoice has been sent to you. It will indicate the postal code and city registered on your account.

  • SMS about unopened invoice - If you have email invoice as your payment method and have not opened your invoice within a few days after billing, you will receive an SMS reminding you of this.

  • Email about upcoming card debit - If you have an account with Parkster with card charging as your payment method, you will receive an email the day before (16th of each month) the charge is processed. The email will include a summary of all parking instances that the charge will cover.

  • Email with invoice - If you have chosen email invoice as your payment method, you will receive your invoice to the email address registered on your account. The email will come from our invoice provider Billogram.

  • Email about postponed debit - If the total amount to be invoiced is less than 25 kronor, the billing will be postponed to the next month. However, billing will occur at least once per quarter. If you are a new customer, billing will always occur the following month. If you have an email address registered on your account, an email will be sent with information that the billing has been postponed.

  • Email about card debit - If you have card charging as your payment method, you may receive an email reminding you that the validity period is about to expire. You are thus encouraged to add a new payment card to ensure future charges can be processed.

  • Failed card debit - If we have been unable to charge your payment card for various reasons when you have card charging as your payment method, an email will be sent to you (if this is registered on your account). It will outline potential reasons for the failed charge.

  • SMS reminder - If you have an unpaid and overdue invoice, you will receive an SMS informing you of this. You always have the option to check all your invoices via My Pages.

  • SMS about blocked account - If there are unpaid and overdue invoices, your account may be blocked. In connection with this, you may receive an SMS with information. There may also be other reasons for a blocked account that trigger an SMS to you.

  • SMS - Sometimes we may send a link to your invoice via SMS, but please note that this is only done in cases where you have already been in contact with us regarding a specific matter. If you do not recognize the reason for receiving such an SMS, you should never open the link.

Please note that Parkster will never ask you to:

  • Provide your card details
  • Provide your password
  • Download an app for a third party
