Can I use Parkster to purchase a ticket for residential parking?

Yes you can!

There are different solutions for purchasing a residential parking permit. The easiest way to find out what applies where you live is through the municipality or the landlord's website or intranet. In some cases, for example, a residential permit may be required in order to purchase or validate a residential parking permit.

At some residential parking spaces, an external residential permit may be required for the ticket purchased via Parkster to be valid. For example, this may be the case for residential parking where you need to apply for a specific residential permit through the municipality or property owner. The ticket can be purchased by anyone, but it is only valid when accompanied by an external permit. Information on how to apply for a permit is usually available on the issuer's website or through information provided upon moving in.

Since the permit is managed and issued by an external party, Parkster does not have the ability to see who is entitled to a permit or who has it or not. Questions about a permit of this kind should be directed to the issuer of the permit.

Generally, the app will indicate if a specific residential permit is required.

Purchased a ticket but missing a valid permit
If you have purchased a ticket for residential parking via Parkster but do not have a valid permit, parking attendants may issue penalty charges for valid reasons. Therefore, make sure you have a valid permit when purchasing this type of ticket.
