Does Parkster comply with GDPR?
Yes, we follow GDPR!
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is an EU law that we must comply with,
just like we comply with all other laws that apply to Parkster.
Can I be deleted from Parkster's system?
Yes, you can. Get in touch with us via email at kundtjanst@parkster.se and we
will assist you with this.
Can I get the information that Parkster has saved about me?
Yes, you can.
On My Pages, you can see what information we have saved about you. If you want
to receive all the collected material, you can contact us via
kundtjanst@parkster.se and we will assist you.
Which personal data is processed and for what purpose?
Name, address, social secirity number, phone number, and email address
We process these in order to identify you as the account holder, conduct credit
checks when necessary, and to be able to charge for the services you use with
us. Phone number and email address are also used to contact you when necessary.
Licance plate
We use this information to identify the vehicle you have parked using our
services.
Geographical positioning data
We use this information to assist you in finding parking zones in your area.
If you use our 'Overpayment Protection' service, the data is also used to assess
if you have left the area in a vehicle and if so, whether we should warn you of
the risk of overpayment. This is done through the Android function 'Physical
activity' and the iOS function 'Movement and fitness'.
How are my personal data stored?
All data is stored within the EU/EEA or in countries that ensure an adequate
level of protection as decided by the EU Commission.
How long does Parkster store my personal information?
We store your account information for as long as you remain a customer with us,
or as long as a specific law may require us to retain the information. For
example, there are requirements for how long we need to keep payment records
such as invoices. If you request that your information be deleted, you will
receive information about which data is affected immediately and which is
affected with a delay.
